Vera Frisén - Umeåkonstnären som hela Sverige talar om
Vera Frisén Frisen could have had a brilliant artist career, but she did not want to. After a successful debut she retreated from the limelight and gallery scene.  But she never stopped to paint.

Her delicate gemlike landscapes, set in low contrast, often with Corot grey as dominant tone, are lyrical portraits of nature.  The exhibition will include both landscapes and portraits from different points of her career, and will investigate her artistic relation to the two genres.

This exhibition is a follow-up from the previous ones in Malmo, Stockholm and Gothenburg, and all works come from the artist’s family.
